Greens Plus® is conscientiously blended and bottled by hand following extraordinarily strict Good Manufacturing Practices. Greens Plus® is made fresh every day and consumers generally receive a bottle or bar made within the last two weeks.

Greens Plus® has deliberately chosen a more expensive, personalized handling process to protect the potency, integrity and nutrient value of each ingredient. Full line automation would save money, but would compromise our customized quality control procedures. To maintain affordability to consumers, we have opted for a modest profit margin.

Greens Plus® products are created at several Natural Products Association, GMP-certified manufacturing facilities with state-of-the-art environmental controls to reduce heat, light and moisture. Specially trained staff wears gloves, hairnets, boot protectors and full-length white cotton smocks.

Greens Plus® employs a proprietary procedure in which each premium quality ingredient is identified and submitted to a battery of quality control tests, including high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), near-infrared spectrometry (NIR), microbiological analysis and heavy-metal testing. Upon certification, each powdered ingredient is screened, weighed and layered by hand into a stainless steel V-shaped blender.

Inside the blender, air is vacuumed and quickly replaced with nitrogen, an inert odorless gas that prevents oxidation and significantly extends shelf life. Once Greens Plus® is thoroughly blended, it is transported into an automatic bottle filler and continuously flushed with nitrogen as empty, recyclable plastic bottles are filled. This is the only time automation is used in the handling process.

To insure maximum freshness, an oxygen and moisture absorbent packet is placed in each bottle, and capped with a non-porous inner freshness seal. Each bottle is labeled, wrapped with a biodegradable tamper-proof film, and packed into recycled cardboard boxes for immediate shipment.

Greens Plus Energy and Protein Bars are made, by hand, using only 100% natural Superfoods. Organic ingredients, such as medjool dates and almond butter, are mixed with the Award-winning Greens Plus powder and cold-pressed into bars, avoiding both heat and friction that can destroy vital nutrients. Once enrobed in tempered dark chocolate and carefully cooled, our great-tasting bars are nitrogen-wrapped, boxed and prepared for shipment to consumers around the world.
