We are constantly bombarded by a continual stream of contaminants from a variety of indoor environmental sources - people, places, things. Tobacco smoke invades our personal space. Bacteria and viruses know no boundaries. Allergens are everywhere.
The Ultraviolet Purification Process, used by the Department of Defense to combat biological warfare, destroys airborne microorganisms, reduces smoke, eliminates odors and refreshes the air we breathe. UltraPure™ Air Purifiers, now with Photo-catalytic oxidation (PCO), employs a three-stage air filter and ultraviolet light to clean and purify ambient air. Certified by numerous independent laboratory studies, UltraPure™ reduces airborne impurities by 99.99% after just two hours of indoor operation.
Here's how it works:
Ambient air is drawn through a screen filter to remove hair, dust and large particles.
Inside the purification chamber, PCO occurs when high-intensity ultraviolet light reacts with a titanium dioxide mesh. This creates a purifying plasma containing highly-excited oxygen molecules, hydrogen peroxide and a small amount of ozone that rapidly destroys volatile organic compounds (VOC's), bacteria, viruses, mold and mildew upon contact.
Clean air carrying negative ions is then recirculated to eliminate smoke and neutralize unpleasant odors, wherever they may hide.
UltraPure™ Air Purifiers are extremely quiet, cost just pennies a day to operate, are nearly maintenance free, and are covered by an extensive two year warranty. For proper maintenance, the ultraviolet light should be replaced once per year.
